♦   Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers occurred at most places over Vidarbha,
Konkan & Goa, Odisha & Delhi; at many places over  Gangetic West Bengal, West Madhya Pradesh & East Uttar Pradesh; at a few places over   Himachal Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Telengana, Saurashtra & Kutch & Andaman & Nicobar Islands and at isolated places over Haryana, Uttrakhand, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Kerala & Tamilnadu. Weather remained mainly dry/dry
over rest parts of the country. The amounts of rainfall (3  cm or more) recorded at 1730 hours IST of yesterday were: Alibag­12; Mahabaleshwar­9; Ahmadnagar & Dharmsala­6 each; Delhi(Palm), Mumbai (Colaba), Ratlam & Amraoti­5 each; Ajmer, Delhi (safderjung),   Delhi   (Ayanagar),   Mumbai   (Scz),   Gangtok,   Madikeri,   Porbander   &   Dwarka­4   each,   Pantnagar,   Sultanpur,   Puri,
Palakkad, Kozhikode, Valprai, Tanabelapur, Khargone & Veraval­3 each.

♦  Temperature:  Yesterday, maximum temperatures were above normal by 2­5°C at many places over Madhya Pradesh, south Rajasthan, Assam & Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh; at a few places over Himachal Pradesh, East Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat Region & Tamilnadu and at isolated places over Jammu & Kashmir, Uttarakhand & Chhattisgarh. They were below normal by 2­5°C at  many places over coastal Odisha, north coastal Andhra Pradesh & Maharashtra; at a few places over Haryana & Delhi, West Bengal & Sikkim, Konkan & Goa and Karnataka and at isolated places over Saurashtra & Kutch, Kerala and Andaman & Nicobar Islands and near normal over rest parts of the country.

♦  Kalpana1: Cloud imagery of 0530 hours IST of today shows convective clouds over some parts of Punjab, west Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, sub­ Himalayan West Bengal, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, Mizoram, Maharashtra, north Kerala, Odisha and Andhra Pradesh,  Bay of Bengal, Andaman sea and northeast  & south Arabian sea. Low/medium clouds
are seen over rest parts of the country.
