♦  Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers has occurred  at most places of Bihar, Sub­Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Konkan & Goa, Andhra Pradesh, North Interior Karnataka, Coastal Karnataka and Andaman & Nicobar Islands; at many places over Jammu & Kashmir, Northeastern states, Odisha, South Interior Karnataka & Kerala; at a few places over Gangetic West Bengal & Gujarat and at isolated places over Uttarakhand, Punjab, East Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh & Vidarbha and   weather remained mainly dry/dry over rest parts of the country. The amounts of rainfall (3 cm or more) recorded at 0830 IST of today are: Udgir and Mahabaleshwar­8   each;   Rentachintala   and   Shirali­7  each;   Darjeeling,   Gulbarga,   Kurnool   and   Mayabander­6   each;   Gangtok,
Purnea, Bulsar, Bhira, Murmugao, Hyderabad and Raichur­5 each; Malda, Gaya, Dahanu, Vengurla and Machilipatinam­4 each; Tadong, Silchar, Bankura, Harnai, Ratnagiri, Jagdalpur, Karwar, Honawar, Agumbe and Portblair­3 each.

♦   Temperature:   Minimum temperatures are above normal by 2­3°C at   many   places over Rajasthan; at a few places over Madhya Pradesh;  at isolated places over Gangetic West Bengal, Gujarat, Tamilnadu, Kerala and Odisha. They are below normal by 2­3° C at many places over Himachal Pradesh; at a few places over Bihar and at isolated places over Punjab, Vidarbha, Konkan & Goa and Andhra Pradesh and near normal over rest parts of the country.

♦  Kalpana1: Cloud imagery of 0830 hours IST of today shows convective clouds over some parts of Jammu & Kashmir, east Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Sub­Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Manipur, Jharkhand, Karnataka,  Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Tamilnadu, Bay of Bengal, Andaman sea, eastcentral & southeast Arabian sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest parts of the country.
