♦  Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers has occurred at many places over Arunachal Pradesh and Andaman & Nicobar Islands; at a few places over Assam & Meghalaya and at  isolated places over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Sikkim, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, west Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Tamilnadu. Weather remained  mainly dry/dry over rest of the country. The amounts of rainfall (in cm) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are:  North Lakhimpur­7; Deesa, Ganganagar, Passighat­2; Car Nicobar, Kailashar, Silchar, Imphal, Lengpui, Tuni and Vishakhapattinam­1 each. 

♦  Temperatures:  Yesterday's severe heat wave conditions were prevailed over some parts of Odisha and over isolated pockets of Gangetic West Bengal. Heat wave conditions also prevailed over some parts of east Bihar, Sub­Himalayan West Bengal and south coastal Andhra Pradesh. Maximum temperatures  of 43°C or more has been recorded at 1730 hours IST of yesterday were: Rentachintala­45.0; Ongole­44.0; Nellore­43.9; Bhubaneshwar­43.7; Chandbali & Kavali­43.5 each and Titlagarh­43.0. Minimum temperatures are above normal by 2­5°C at many places over Sub Himalayan West Bengal and Andaman & Nicobar Islands; They 
are below normal by 2­6°C at many places over   Rajasthan; at a few places over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh and at  isolated places over   Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh,  Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Assam  and Arunachal Pradesh and  nearly normal over rest parts of the country.

♦  Kalpana­1: Cloud imagery of 0830 hours IST shows convective clouds over many parts of Andaman Sea and south Bay of Bengal. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest parts of of the country outside Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and  Jharkhand.
