Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers occurred at many places over Assam & Meghalaya and Rayalaseema; at a few places over Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, 
Mizoram & Tripura, interior Karnataka, Telangana and at isolated places over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Vidarbha, Madhya Maharashtra, Maharashtra and Tamilnadu. Weather remained mainly dry/dry over rest of the country. The chief amounts of rainfall (in cm) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Passighat and Agartala-2 each and Dibrugarh, Chaparmukh, Rangia, Cherrapunji, Lumding, Silchar, Kailashahar, Lengpui, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Anantapur-1 each.

Temperatures: Minimum temperatures are below normal by 2-4°C at many places over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh; at a few places over east Uttar Pradesh, south Rajasthan, Vidarbha, Marathawada, Konkan & Goa and north interior Karnataka. They are above normal by 2-5°C at a few places over Gangetic West Bengal and nearly normal over rest parts of the country. The highest maximum temperature of 41.9°C was recorded at Tirupathi (Andhra Pradesh).

Kalpana-1: Cloud imagery at 1430 hours IST shows convective clouds over parts of southwest Arabian sea. Low/medium clouds over western Himalayan region, northeastern states, West Bengal & Sikkim, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, south Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamilnadu and Kerala.
