♦  Rainfall: Light rain/snow occurred at  isolated  places over Jammu & 
Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttrakhand. Rain/thundershowers occurred at a few places over Assam & Meghalaya and at isolated places over Punjab, Haryana & Delhi, west Uttar Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal and mainly dry/dry weather prevailed over rest of the country. The chief amounts of rainfall (in cm) recorded at 1730 hours IST of yesterday were Jalpaiguri­2, Dhubri and Shillong ­1  each.

♦  Temperatures: Maximum temperatures wee above normal by 2­3°C at isolated  places over  Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, east Madhya Pradesh, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Tamilnadu. They were below normal by  2­5°C at many places over West Bengal & Sikkim and at isolated places over Punjab, Haryana  & Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat region,  Vidarbha, Bihar and Assam & Meghalaya and nearly normal over rest parts of the country. 

♦  Kalpana­1: Cloud imagery at 0530 hours IST shows  convective clouds over some  parts of western Himalayan region, Punjab, Haryana & Delhi, west Uttar Pradesh and north Rajasthan. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest parts of western Himalayan region, Punjab, Haryana & Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh,  Gangetic West Bengal, coastal Odisha, northeastern states, Andhra Pradesh, coastal Karnataka, Tamilnadu and Kerala.
