♦    Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers has occurred at many places over Assam & 
Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura; at a few places over Kerala and at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh, Odisha, Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Tamilnadu and Sub­Himalayan West Bengal Bengal & Sikkim. The amount of rainfall ( in cm) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today: Halflong­3, Kailashahar and Cherrapunji­2 each, Mahabaleshwar, Passighat, Tezpur, Imphal and Lengpui­1 each. Mainly dry/dry weather prevailed over rest of the country.

♦    Temperatures: Minimum temperatures are below normal by 2­5°C at a few places over Jammu & Kashmir, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Gujarat and at isolated places over Punjab, east Uttar Pradesh, Sikkim, Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha, south interior Karnataka, Rayalaseema and Tamilnadu.They are above normal by 2­4°C at a few places over south Tamilnadu and at isolated places over parts of Jammu & Kashmir, west Rajasthan, Saurashtra & Kutch, Konkan & Goa, Jharkhand and nearly normal over rest parts of the country.

♦   Kalpana­1: Cloud imagery at 0830 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of southwest Arabian sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over some parts of  western Himalayan region, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, north eastern states  and peninsular India.
