Rainfall: Rain/snow has occurred at many places over Jammu & Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh and at isolated places over Uttrakhand, Punjab and Haryana. Mainly dry/dry weather prevailed over rest of the country. The amount of rainfall (in cm) recorded at 0830 hours IST today are : Banihal-5; Solan-3; Srinagar, Dharmsala, Sundernagar, Kalpa, Chandigarh, Shimla (AP),Dehradun, Tehri, Chandigarh and Amritsar-2 each; Jammu, Bhuntar, Una and Patiala-1 each.

Temperatures: Minimum temperatures are below normal by 2-4°C at many places over Rayalaseema, north Tamilnadu and interior Odisha and at isolated places over Kutch, south interior Karnataka and west Rajasthan. They are above normal by 2-6°C at many places over Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, east Rajasthan, west Uttar Pradesh 
and west Bengal & Sikkim and nearly normal over rest parts of the country.

Kalpana-1: Cloud imagery at 0830 hours IST shows convective clouds over many parts of western Himalayan region, comorin area and southwest south Bay of Bengal. Low/medium clouds are seen over some parts of rest western Himalayan region, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, interior Karnataka, Kerala and Tamilnadu.
