Weather News India 14 March 2014 Forecast Report


♦   Rainfall: Very light  Rain/thundershowers occurred at isolated places over Madhya Maharashtra. Mainly dry/dry weather prevailed over rest of the country.

♦   Temperatures: Maximum temperatures were below normal by 2­5°C at many places over Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, interior Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Odisha; at a few places over Jammu & Kashmir, Haryana, interior Karnataka and interior Andhra Pradesh; at isolated places over Himachal 
Pradesh and Bihar. They were above normal by 2­4°C at few places over Assam, Sikkim, Saurashtra & Kutch, coastal Karnataka, Konkan & Goa and Kerala and nearly normal over rest of the country.

♦    Kalpana­1:   Cloud   imagery   at   0530   shows   convective   clouds   over   some   part   of   Jammu   & Kashmir. Low/medium   clouds   are   seen   over   some   parts   of   rest   western   Himalayan   region,   Chhattisgarh,   interior Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu, Kerala and  northeastern states.
