Fog Watch
♦    Fog:   Dense fog   has been  observed  at a few  places  over Punjab. Fog/shallow fog has  also been observed at a few places over east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places over Delhi, west Uttar Pradesh, northwest Madhya Pradesh and Bihar in morning hours. The  visibility of (< 50 M) has recorded at Amritsar and Ludhiana.

Cold Watch
♦ Minimum temperatures are below 5.0°C at many places over western Himalayan region and between 5.0°C­ 10.0°C at many places over Punjab, Haryana,  Uttar Pradesh, north Madhya Pradesh and at a few places over north   Rajasthan,   Jharkhand,   interior   Odisha,   north   Chhattisgarh   and   Madhya   Maharashtra.   The  lowest 
minimum temperature of 4.4°C has been recorded at Adampur (Punjab)  in plains of the country.

Main Weather Observations
♦   RAINFALL: Rain/thundershowers has occurred  at most places  with isolated heavy falls over Andaman & Nicobar Islands and at isolated places over Tamilnadu. The amounts of rainfall (in cm) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Port Blair­10;  Hut­Bay­3; Nancowry­2; Long Islands and Mayabandar & Car Nicobar­1 each.

♦  Temperatures:Minimum temperatures are below normal by 4­5°C at a few places over  interior Maharashtra and by 2­3°C at few places over Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, rest Andhra Pradesh and Konkan & Goa. They are above normal by 2­3°C at 
many places over  west Rajasthan and at a few places over Saurashtra, east Bihar and Sub­Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim and nearly normal over rest of the country.

 Kalpana­1: Cloud imagery at 0830 hours IST shows convective clouds over many parts of westcentral  Bay of Bengal and some parts of rest Bay of Bengal, south Andaman sea, north Jammu & Kashmir, coastal Gangetic West Bengal, coastal Odisha and north coastal Andhra Pradesh. Low/medium clouds are seen over some parts of rest western Himalayan regions, south interior Karnataka, Kerala, Tamilnadu, northeastern states, rest Andhra Pradesh and  rest Gangetic West Bengal and Odisha.
