Fog Watch
♦    Fog:  Fog/Shallow fog has been observed at a few places over Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places over Bihar  in morning hours. The  visibility of (< 50 M) has recorded at Amritsar.

Cold Watch
♦ Yesterday Minimum temperatures are below 5°C at many places over western Himalayan  region and between 5°C­10°C at many places over Punjab, Haryana,  Uttar Pradesh, north Madhya Pradesh and at a few places over north Rajasthan, Jharkhand, interior Odisha, north Chhattisgarh and Madhya Maharashtra. The  lowest minimum  temperature of 4.4°C has been  recorded at  Adampur  (Punjab)   in plains of the 
country.
 
Main Weather Observations

♦   RAINFALL:  Rain/thundershowers was occurred at  isolated  places over Andaman & Nicobar Islands. The amounts of rainfall (in cm) recorded at 1730 hours IST of today were: Long Islands  and Car Nicobar­1 each.

♦   Temperatures: Maximum temperature were below normal by 2­4°C at  many places over Odisha and at isolated pockets of Chhattishgarh. They were above normal by 2­4°C  many places over western Himalayan region and adjoining plains of northwest India, Madhya Pradesh,   northeastern states   and at a few places over Saurashtra and peninsular India and nearly normal over rest of the country.

 Kalpana­1: Cloud imagery at 0530 hours IST shows convective clouds over many parts of westcentral  Bay of Bengal and some parts of rest north and central Bay of Bengal, Andaman sea and  east  Jammu & Kashmir.  Low/medium clouds are seen over some parts of western Himalayan regions, Punjab,  Odisha and some parts of south peninsular India.
