Fog Watch
♦   Fog: Dense fog (Visibility < 200 M) has been observed at isolated places over east Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Sub­Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim and Odisha.   Shallow fog (visibility < 500 M) has also been observed at isolated places over Uttarakhand, Assam, rest Uttar Pradesh, Bihar & Odisha in morning hours. The visibility (50 M or less) has observed at Pantnagar, Bahraich,  Gorakhpur, Patna, Gopalpur, Kalimpong, Jalpaiguri, Coochbehar, Agartala and Silchar at 0830 hours IST of today.

Cold Watch
♦    The lowest minimum temperature of 0.9°C has been recorded at Churu (Rajasthan) in plains of the country.
♦   Cold wave conditions are prevailing at a few places over Haryana. 
♦   Ground frost (minimum temperature <4°C) has observed at a few places over Punjab, south Haryana and north Rajasthan.

Main Weather Observations
♦   RAINFALL: Weather remained mainly dry/dry over the  entire country.

  Temperatures:   Prevailing  minimum  temperatures  are  0°C  at  many   places   over  high  reaches  of  western Himalayan region; between 1­5°C at many places over lower areas of western Himalayan region and at a few places over Haryana, north Rajasthan; between 6­10°C at many places over rest northwest and adjoining central and east India and northeastern states and more then 11°C at  most places over rest of the country.

♦   Kalpana­1: Cloud imagery at 0830 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of southwest Bay of Bengal. Low/medium clouds are seen over some parts of Uttar Pradesh, west Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, south peninsular India, Lakshadweep and Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
