Fog Watch
♦   Fog: Dense to very dense fog (Visibility < 200 M) has been observed at a few places over east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated pockets of Rajasthan, Haryana and Manipur. Shallow fog (visibility < 500 M) has also been observed over some parts of  Bihar and 
west Madhya Pradesh in morning hours.  The visibility (50 M or less) has been observed over Ambala, Ganganagar, Kota, Jhalawar, Agra, Orai, Lucknow, Kanpur, Barabanki, Hamirpur, Fursatganj, Sultanpur, Varanasi, Khajuraho and Bhopal at 0830 hours IST of 
today.

Cold Watch
♦   The lowest minimum temperature of 4.5°C has been recorded at Bikaner (Rajasthan) in plains of the country.

♦   Cold day conditions were prevailed at a few places over northwest Rajasthan and at isolated pockets of Punjab and Haryana. The lowest maximum temperature of 12.9°C recorded at Jaisalmer (Rajasthan) in plains of the country.

Main Weather Observations
♦   RAINFALL: Rain/snow has occurred  at  many places over Jammu & Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh and at isolated places over Uttarakhand. Light rain/thundershower occurred at isolated places over Haryana and north Tamilnadu. Weather remained mainly dry/dry over rest parts of the country.  The amounts of rainfall (in cm) recorded at 0830 hours of today are: Batote­4; Pahalgaon­3; Baderwah­2 and Banihal, Kokarnag, Manali and  Dharamsala 1 each.

♦  Temperatures:  Minimum temperatures are below normal by 2­3°C at a few places over west Rajasthan, Gujarat and isolated pockets of interior Karnataka, interior Odisha and northeastern states. They are above normal by 5­6°C at a few places over east 
Madhya Pradesh and east Uttar Pradesh; by 2­3°C at a few places over rest Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and Gangetic West Bengal and near normal over rest part of the country.

♦  Kalpana­1: Cloud imagery at 0830 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of Jammu & Kashmir and south Bay of Bengal. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest western Himalayan region,  north Haryana, Arunachal Pradesh, Tamilnadu,  Kerala, Lakshadweep and Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
