Fog Watch
♦   Fog: Very dense/dense fog (Visibility < 200 M) has been observed at isolated places over Delhi, east Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Odisha, West Bengal & Sikkim, Assam, Tripura during morning hours. The visibility (50 M or less) observed at Allahabad, Patna, 
Purnea,  Kalimpong, Halflong and Kailashahar at 0830 hours IST of today.

Cold Watch
♦  Cold wave conditions are prevailing over some parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and North Rajasthan.

♦  The lowest minimum temperature of  ­0.1°C has been recorded at Hissar (Haryana) and Churu (Rajasthan) in plains of the country.

♦  Ground frost (minimum temperature < 4°C) has been observed at a few places over Punjab, Haryana, west Uttar Pradesh and north Rajasthan.

Main Weather Observations
♦    RAINFALL: Rain/thundershowers has occurred at isolated places over west Madhya Pradesh. Weather remained mainly dry/dry over the country.

♦  Temperatures: Minimum temperatures are below normal by 4­6°C at a few places over  Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, north  Rajasthan  and Saurashtra & Kutch  and  by  2­3°C  at  a few  places  over  Jammu & Kashmir,  Himachal Pradesh,  south 
Rajasthan,  West Bengal & Sikkim, Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu and Kerala. They are above normal by 2­5°C at  many places over  Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra and near normal over rest parts of the country.

♦   Kalpana­1: Cloud imagery at 0830 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of Jammu & Kashmir, south Bay of Bengal, south Andaman sea and southeast Arabian sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over some parts of   Rajasthan,  West & 
Bengal & Sikkim,  northeastern  states,  Jharkhand,  north  Chhattisgarh, Gujarat  region, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra,  interior Karnataka, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Tamilnadu.
