Fog Watch
♦    Fog:  Dense fog  has  been   observed at isolated  pockets  of Odisha. Fog/shallow fog  has  also  been observed at isolated pockets of Bihar, Assam & Meghalaya and Tripura during early morning hours. The lowest visibility(100 M) has been observed at Gopalpur (Odisha).

Cold Watch
♦     Yesterday's minimum temperatures were below 10°C at many places over western Himalaya regions,Punjab,   Haryana   and   Uttar   Pradesh.   The  lowest   minimum  temperature   of   4.4°C  recorded   at Muzaffarnager (Uttar Pradesh)  in plains of the country.
 
Main Weather Observations
♦   RAINFALL: Rain/thundershowers  occurred at a few places over coastal Tamilnadu and at isolated over Kerala. Weather remained dry over rest of the country. The 
amount of rainfall (in cm) recorded at 1730 hours IST of yesterday were : Pamban­4.

♦   Temperatures: Maximum temperatures were above normal by 2­4°C at  many places over northwest India, west Madhya Pradesh, interior Peninsular India and some places over northeastern states. They were below normal by 2­3°C at a few places over Tamilnadu and nearly normal over rest parts of the country.

♦   Kalpana­1:  Cloud  imagery  at  0530  hours IST  shows  convective  clouds  over  some  parts  of   Jammu & Kashmir,Tamilnadu, Kerala,  south Bay of Bengal,  south east Arabian sea and Lakshadweep. area. Low/medium clouds  are  seen  over  some  parts  of   rest  western  Himalayan  region, Punjab,  northeastern  states  and  rest 
peninsular India.
