Fog Watch
♦   Fog: Fog has been  observed at a few places over east Uttar Pradesh and isolated places over Delhi, east Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and  west Assam  during morning hours.

Cold Watch
♦    Yesterday's prevailing minimum temperatures were below 10°C at isolated places over Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, north Rajasthan and  east Madhya Pradesh. The lowest minimum temperature of  5.7°C was recorded at Muzaffarnagar  (Uttar Pradesh)  in plains of the country.

Main Weather Observations
♦   RAINFALL: Rain/thundershowers occurred at isolated places over Andaman & Nicobar  Islands, Tamilnadu, Kerala and Lakshadweep. Weather remained dry over rest of the country. The amount of rainfall (in cm) recorded at 1730 hours IST of yesterday was: Aminidivi­2.

♦    Temperatures:  Maximum temperatures were above normal by 2­5°C at a few places over many parts of the country outside Gangetic West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Odisha,  coastal Andhra Pradesh and along west  coast where they are near 
normal.

♦  Kalpana­1: Cloud imagery at 0530 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of Jammu & Kashmir and southwest Bay of Bengal, south Andaman sea and southeast Arabian sea.  Low/medium clouds are seen over some parts of rest Jammu & Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh,  south Chhattisgarh, Odisha and peninsular India.
