Fog Watch
♦    Fog:  Fog/Shallow fog has been observed at isolated places over   east Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand,east Assam and Tripura.

Cold Watch
♦   Cold wave conditions prevailed over some parts of Interior Odisha and Chhattisgarh.

♦    Prevailing minimum temperatures were  below  5°C  at many  places  over western Himalayan  region  and between 5­10°C at many places over Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh; at a few places over north Rajasthan, Jharkhand, north Chhattisgarh and at isolated places over Madhya Maharashtra. The lowest 
minimum temperature of 4.6°C was recorded at  Najibabad (Uttar Pradesh) in plains of the country.

Main Weather Observations
♦    RAINFALL: Rain/Thundershower occurred at a few places over Tamilnadu and at isolated places over Kerala, Arunachal Pradesh, east Assam and Andaman & Nicobar Island. Weather remained mainly dry/dry over the rest of the  country. Rainfall has been recorded at 1730 hour IST of yesterday were : Puducherry­2 and Cuddalore, Karaikal and Nagapattinam 1 each.

♦  Temperatures:  Maximum temperatures were below   normal by 2­4°C at isolated places over Madhya Pradesh, Sub­Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya and Tamilnadu. They were above normal by  2­3°C at a few places over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, south Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Saurashtra & Kutch, Madhya Maharashtra, Karnataka and interior Andhra Pradesh and nearly normal over rest of the country.

♦  Kalpana­1: Cloud imagery at 0530 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of southeast Bay of Bengal, south Andaman sea and southeast Arabian sea.  Low/medium clouds are seen over some parts of   Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh,  Uttrakhand, northeastern states, Andhra Pradesh,Tamilnadu, south interior Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.
