Fog Watch
♦   Fog: Fog/shallow fog has been observed at isolated places over Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Manipur in morning hours.

Cold Watch
♦   Yesterday,   cold wave conditions were prevailing over some parts of Madhya Maharashtra, Odisha and Jharkhand.

♦ Yesterday, prevailing minimum temperatures were below 5°C at many places over western Himalayan region and between 5°C­10°C at many places over Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, north Madhya Pradesh and at a few places over north Rajasthan, Jharkhand, interior Odisha, north Chhattisgarh and at isolated 
places over Madhya Maharashtra.  The lowest minimum temperature of 5.0°C was recorded at Adampur (Punjab)  and Sarsawa (Uttar Pradesh) in plains of the country.

Main Weather Observations
♦    RAINFALL:  Light  rain/thundershowers was occurred  at  isolated pockets of Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Weather remained mainly dry/dry over rest of the country.

♦    Temperatures:  Maximum temperatures were above normal by 2­4°C at  some places  over Western Himalayan region, Rajasthan, north Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Sub­Himalayan West Bengal, northeastern states, north Konkan & Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Karnataka, south Andhra Pradesh and Tamilnadu. They 
were below normal by 2­4°C at isolated places over south Madhya Pradesh and Gangetic West Bengal and nearly normal over rest of the country.

♦  Kalpana­1: Cloud imagery at 0530 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of westcentral  & east Bay of Bengal and south Andaman sea    Low/medium clouds are seen over some parts of Jammu & Kashmir and extreme south peninsular India.
