Fog Watch
♦   Fog: Fog/shallow fog has been observed at isolated pockets of Punjab, east Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Tripura in morning hours.
 
Cold Watch
♦  Minimum temperature are below normal by 5­6°C at isolated pockets of north Haryana, Saurashtra & Kutch,Marathawada and interior Odisha. The  lowest minimum  temperature of  7.6°C  has been recorded at  Hissar (Haryana)  in plains of the country.

Main Weather Observations
♦   RAINFALL: Rain/thunderstorm occurred at  many places over Andaman & Nicobar Islands  and at isolated places over Kerala, Tamilnadu and Lakshadweep. Weather remained mainly 
dry/dry over rest of the country. The amounts of rainfall (cm) recorded at  0830 hours IST of today are: Agathi and Port Blair­2 each and Car Nicobar­1.

♦   Temperatures: Minimum temperatures are below normal by 2­4°C over many parts of the country out side west Rajasthan,Andhra Pradesh, Konkan & Goa  Tamilnadu  and Kerala where they are near or above normal by about 2°C.

♦    Kalpana­1: Cloud imagery at 1430 hours IST shows convective clouds over parts of Odisha, coastal Andhra Pradesh,westcentral Bay of Bengal and  south Andaman sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest Odisha and over some parts of peninsular India.
