Fog Watch
  Fog: Fog/shallow fog has been observed in morning hours over isolated pockets of Punjab, Delhi,Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and northeastern states.

Cold Watch
♦   Temperatures: Yesterday's maximum temperatures were between  25­30°C  over plains of northwest India and central & east  India and northeast states and more than 30°C over rest plains of the country.

♦ Yesterday's maximum temperatures were below normal by 4­6°C over some parts of Rajasthan and west Madhya Pradesh and by 2­3°C over rest of Rajasthan & west Madhya Pradesh and over some parts of Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Utter Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Gujarat. They were above normal by 2­3°C over some parts of northeastern states, Tamilnadu and Kerala and near normal over rest 
parts of the country.

♦ The  highest maximum  temperature of  35.0°C  was  reported at  Karwar  (Karnataka)  in plains of the country.

Main Weather Observations
♦   RAINFALL: Rain/thundershowers occurred  at a few places over Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Weather remained mainly dry/dry over rest of the country. The amounts of rainfall (1 cm or more) recorded at 1730 hours IST of yesterday were : Nancowry­2 and Portblair­1.

  Kalpana­1: Cloud imagery at 0530 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of  north  Jammu & Kashmir, Kerala, south central Bay  of Bengal, Andaman  sea,  southeast Arabian sea and Comorin area. Low/medium clouds are seen over  rest Western Himalayan region and  peninsular India.
