Fog Watch
  Fog: Fog/shallow fog has been observed in morning hours over isolated pockets of  Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Manipur and Tripura.

Cold Watch
♦   Temperatures: Yesterday's maximum temperatures were   below normal by 5­7°C over many parts of  Rajasthan, and by 2­4°C over   Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana & Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat state and isolated pockets of  Uttarakhand, Bihar, Gangetic  West Bengal  and north interior Karnataka.   They were above normal by 2­3 °C over some parts of north eastern states, Tamilnadu, coastal   &   north   interior   Karnataka   and   Kerala   and   nearly   normal   over   rest   of   the   country.

Main Weather Observations
♦   RAINFALL: Rain/thundershowers occurred  at a few places over Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Weather remained mainly dry/dry over rest of the country. The amounts of rainfall (1 cm or more) recorded at 1730 hours IST of yesterday were : Carnicobar­2 and  Hutbay­
1.

♦   Kalpana­1: Cloud imagery at 0530 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of  south Bay of Bengal, southeast Arabian sea and Comorin area. Low/medium clouds are seen over Jammu & Kashmir and peninsular India.
