♦ RAINFALL: Rain/thundershowers has occurred at most places over northeastern states; at many places over Jharkhand and Andaman & Nicobar Islands; at a few places over east Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat region and coastal Karnataka and at isolated places over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, west Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Bihar, sub­Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Saurashtra & Kutch, Konkan & Goa, Marathawada, Vidarbha, interior Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Tamilnadu. Weather remained mainly dry/dry  over rest of the country. Chief amounts of rainfall (2 cm or more) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Dahanu­13; Lumding­7; Dibrugarh and Fursatganj­6 each; Ratlam­5; Indore­, Passighat and Ranchi­4 each; Nagpur, Haldia, Guwahati, Cherrapunji and Lengpui­3 each and Patna, Gaya, Canning, Malda, Kailashahar, Hirakud, Agartala, Panagarh, Mumbai(SCZ), Satna, Betul, Seoni and Machilipatnam­2 each.

♦ TEMPERATURES: Minimum temperatures are above normal by 4­6°C over some parts  of Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, west Rajasthan, Gujarat region and isolated pockets of Uttarakhand, Haryana, east Rajasthan and by 2­3°C
parts of Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Saurashtra & Kutch, coastal Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu. They are below normal by 2­3°C over isolated pockets of Arunachal Pradesh and Assam  and near normal over rest parts of the country. 

♦   Kalpana­1: Cloud imagery at 1430 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of   Chhattisgarh, south Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, south Gujarat region, east Madhya Pradesh, north Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Gengetic West Bengal, Arunachal Pradesh, eastcentral Bay of Bengal, Andaman Sea and east Arabian Sea. Low/medium clouds  are seen over rest parts of the country.
