Weather News India 10 October 2013 Forecast Report:

♦   RAINFALL: Rain/thundershowers  has occurred at most places  over  Andaman &  Nicobar  islands  and  coastal Andhra Pradesh;  at  many  places  over Gujarat  region, Vidarbha, Marathawada, Odisha, Jharkhand and Telangana; at a few places over  Saurashtra & Kutch, Konkan & Goa, west Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gangetic West Bengal, Tamilnadu & Puducherry, Coastal Karnataka and Kerala and at isolated places over east Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh,  Jammu & Kashmir, east Rajasthan, Bihar, Rayalaseema, Madhya Maharashtra and interior Karnataka. Weather remained mainly dry/dry over rest parts of the country. The 
amounts of  rainfall  (2  cm or more)  recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Mayabandar  ­16, Yeotmal­14, Mahuva­13, Hyderabad and Carnicobar­10, Narsapur and Gannavaram­8 each; Rentachintala, Bapatla and Nandigama­6 each, Malegaon 
and Kozhikode­5 each, Aurangabad, Tiruttani and Balasore­4 each; Bhavnagar, Cannur and Long Island­3 each; Hut Bay, Ratlam, Nagpur, Dahanu, Vishakhapatnam, Chennai, Karipur, Bankura, Nancowry, Gondia, Amroati and New Kandla­2 each.

♦ TEMPERATURES: Minimum temperatures  are  below  normal  by  2­4°C  over  some  parts  of  south   Andhra Pradesh,  northeastern states and isolated pockets of Madhya Pradesh & Tamilnadu. They are above normal by 5­7°C over many parts of  
Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and   Rajasthan and by   2­3°C over west Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Sub­Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim and near normal over rest parts of the country.

♦   Kalpana­1: Cloud imagery at   0830 hours IST shows convective clouds over most parts of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Andaman Sea and central & south Bay of Bengal and over   parts of south interior Karnataka, south Andhra Pradesh, north Tamilnadu and east Arabian Sea. Low/medium clouds  are seen over rest parts of the country outside west Rajasthan.
