Today, the center of Tropical Storm "NANDO" was estimated based on all available data at 310 km North Northeast of Basco, Batanes (23.6°N, 122.6°E) with maximum sustained winds of 105 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 135 kph. It is forecast to move North at 19 kph. Meanwhile, another Low Pressure (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 1300 km East of Extreme Northern Luzon (19.0°N,136.0°E). |

Batanes, Calayan and Babuyan Group of Islands will experience cloudy skies with moderate to heavy rainshowers and thunderstorms which may trigger flashfloods and landslides. Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Abra, Apayao, Kalinga and the rest of Cagayan will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. Moderate to strong winds blowing from the south to southwest will prevail over Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the east to southeast with slight to moderate seas. |
