♦ RAINFALL: Rain/thundershower occurred at most places over Kerala, west Madhya Pradesh and Assam & Meghalya at many places over coastal & south interior Karnataka, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Sub Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim; at a few places over west Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttrakhand, Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana& Delhi and at isolated places Tamilnadu, Bihar, Gujarat, Gangetic West Bengal and east Rajasthan. The chief amounts of rainfall (3 cm or more) recorded at 1730 hours IST of
yesterday were: Jaipur, Tezpur and Mangalore6 each; Patiala, Dibrugarh and Guna5 each; Kochin, Golaghat, Minicoy, Cannur, Rintachintala, Agathi, Umaria, Khajuraho and Shirali 3 each.
♦ TEMPERATURES: Maximum temperatures were below normal by 26°C over many places over Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Interior Karnataka and at few places over northeastern states. They were above normal by 2 4°C at many places over Odisha, Jharkhand, Jammu & Kashmir and at a few places over and Haryana and nearly normal over rest of the country.
♦ Kalpana1: Cloud imagery at 0530 hours IST shows convective clouds over parts of Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, east Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, east Bihar, coastal Odisha, Gangetic west Bengal, west Assam, Meghalaya, south Andhra Pradesh, south interior Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Kerala, Tamilnadu, north &adjoining central and southwest Bay of Bengal, south Andaman sea, southeast Arabian sea and Lakshadweep area.. Low/ medium clouds are seen over rest parts of the country.
