♦ Southwest Monsoon has vigorous over West Rajasthan and active over Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat state, Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha, coastal Karnataka
and Kerala.
♦ RAINFALL: Rain/thundershower has occurred at most places along west coast, over Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand & Gujarat States; at many places over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, interior Karnataka, Lakshadweep & northeastern states; at a few places over Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Andaman & Nicobar Islands and at one or two places over Andhra Pradesh & Tamilnadu. The chief amounts of rainfall (5 cm or more) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Agumbe23; Mandla13, Hardoi and Bhira11 each; ahabaleshwar and Baripada10 each; Barmer and Kozhikode9 each; Ratlam, Najibabad, Kanpur and Honavar8 each; Raisen, Vengurla, Sheopuri, Jhalawar, Sheopur, Cannur, Diamond Harbour, Goa (Panjim) and Shirali7 each; Banswara, Medikeri, Karwar, Durg, Karipur, Moradabad and Surendernagar6 each and Ujjain, Bulsar, Jamshedpur, Titlagarh, Haflong, Shahjahanpur, Midnapore, Chittorgarh, Baroda and Malanjkhand5 each.
♦ TEMPERATURES: Minimum temperatures are above normal by 23°C over some parts of Uttrakhand, Bihar & SubHimalayan West Bengal and isolated pockets of Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura and Tamilnadu. They are below normal by 23°C over some parts of Haryana, Delhi, west Rajasthan, east Uttar Pradesh &
Kerala and near normal over rest parts of the country.
