RAINFALL:  Rain/thundershower occurred at most places along west coast and interior Maharashtra and at many places over Madhya Pradesh, coastal Odisha and
south Gujarat; at a few places over Haryana & Delhi, Andhra Pradesh and  interior Karnataka and at one or two  places over rest parts of the country outside Punjab and west  Rajasthan. The chief amounts of rainfall (4   cm   or   more)   recorded   at   1730   hours   IST   of   yesterday   wee:   Mahabaleshwar­10;   Delhi(Ridge)­   8; Dharamshala­7; Karnal, Puri, Panjim, Mahuva and Agumbe­6 each; Veraval and Panchmarhi­5 each and Surat and Medikeri­4 each. 

TEMPERATURES:  Maximum temperatures were above normal by 2­4°C over many parts of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, east Uttar Pradesh and northeastern states. They were below normal by 3­5°C over some parts of south Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh and near normal over rest parts of the country.

♦  Kalpana­1: Cloud imagery at 0530 hours IST shows convective clouds over parts of east Uttar Pradesh, north Rajasthan, south Gujarat,   west Madhya Pradesh, south Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Jharkhand, Gangetic West   Bengal,   interior   Maharashtra,   north Andhra   Pradesh,   Arunachal   Pradesh,   east   Assam,   Manipur, Mizoram, Bay of Bengal, Andaman Sea and  Arabian Sea. Low/ medium clouds are seen over rest parts of
the country.
