♦ TEMPERATURES: Minimum temperatures are above normal by 24° C over some parts of Rajasthan, Gujarat, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Tamilnadu. They are below normal by 25° C over some parts of Haryana and Karnataka and isolated pockets of Punjab and Vidarbha and near normal over rest parts of the country. The lowest minimum temperature of 14.2°C has been recorded at Ahmednagar (Maharashtra) in plains of the country.
♦ RAINFALL: Rain/thundershowers has occurred at many places over northeastern States and West Bengal & Sikkim and at a few places over Himachal Pradesh and Jharkhand and at one or two places over east Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Kerala and Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Weather remained mainly dry over rest parts of the country. The chief amounts of rainfall (1 cm or more ) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are : Tezpur7, Diamond Harbour4, Haldia and Balasore3 each, Digha, Kolkata,(DumDum), Silchar and Lengpui2 each, Kolkata (Alipore), Kailashahar, Canning, Cherrapunji, Imphal and Deomali1 each.
♦ CLOUDS: Kalpana1 Cloud imagery at 0830 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of Assam & Meghalaya and Gangetic West Bengal. Low/medium clouds are seen over Rajasthan, Gujarat, west Madhya Pradesh, rest northeastern states, Odisha, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand.
