TEMPERATURES: Minimum temperatures are above normal by 24° C over some parts of Rajasthan, northern parts of west Bengal and Tamilnadu. They are below normal by 25° C and some parts of Chhattisgarh and Odisha and at isolated pockets of Haryana, Konkan and Gangetic West Bengal and near normal over rest of the country. The lowest minimum temperature of 15.0°C has been recorded at Rewa (Madhya Pradesh) in plains of the country.
RAINFALL: Rain/thundershower has occurred at many places over northeastern states and at a few places over West Bengal & Sikkim, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha and Kerala and at one or two places over western Himalayan region, Uttar Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh, Tamilnadu and Andaman & Nicobar islands. Weather remained mainly dry over rest parts of the country. The chief amounts of rainfall (1 cm or more ) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Punnalur6, Gangtok, Tadong, Silchar, Mukteshwar, Passighat and Dibrugarhr3 each, Majbat, Tangla, Tezpur and Ambikapur2 each and Lumding, Cherrapunji, Guwahati, Ranchi, Chandbali, Valparai, Attiramapattinam and Thiruvanthapuram1 each.
CLOUDS: Kalpana1 Cloud imagery at 0830 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Kerala, southeast Bay of Bengal and Andaman sea. Low/medium clouds over parts of Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Odisha,
Jharkhand, remaining northeastern states, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and  Tamilnadu.
