TEMPERATURE: AT 0830 IST of today, minimum temperatures were below normal by 35° C at a few places over Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal, Bihar and at isolated places over Vidarbha, Uttarakhand, Konkan & Goa, east Rajasthan and Assam & Meghalaya. They were above normal by 26° C at a few places Madhya Maharashtra and Telangana and at isolated places over interior Karnataka and Gujarat. The lowest minimum temperature of 2.2°C was recorded at Amritsar (Punjab) in plains of the country.
 
RAINFALL: Rainfall has occurred at a few places over Vidarbha and at isolated places over east Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Andaman & Nicobar Islands. The significant amount of rainfall (in cm) recorded at 0830 hours of today are: Carnicobar and Wardha2 each and Brahmapuri1.
 
CLOUDS:
Kalpana1 Cloud imagery at 0830 hours IST shows convective clouds over many parts of south Bay of Bengal and south Andaman Sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Telengana, Kerala, Andaman & Nicobar islands and Lakshadweep.
 
The upper air cyclonic circulation over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura now lies over Arunachal Pradesh and neighbourhood in the lower levels. 
The trough of low pressure area at mean sea level now runs from westcentral Bay of Bengal to comorin area across southwest Bay of Bengal.
An upper air cyclonic circulation lies over Vidarbha & neighbourhood extending upto 1.5 km above mean sea level.
The upper air cyclonic circulation over Lakshadweep area has become less marked.
