♦ TEMPERATURE: Maximum temperatures are below normal by 59°C over many parts of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar and some parts of Madhya Pradesh; by of 24°C over Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujrat region, west Bengal, Odisha, and rest Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. They are above normal by 24°C many parts of northeastern states and some parts of Tamilnadu, Kerala, south interior & coastal Karnataka and Andaman & Nicobar Islands and near normal over rest parts of the country. The highest maximum temperature of 36.4°C has been recorded at Punalur (Kerala) in the country.
♦ RAINFALL: Weather remained mainly dry over most parts of the country.
♦ CLOUDS: Kalpana1 Cloud imagery at 1730 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of northwest Jammu & Kashmir, southeast Bay of Bengal and south Andaman Sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest Jammu & Kashmir, northeastern states, Marathawada, Madhya Maharashtra, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu, Kerala, Lakshadweep and rest Andaman & Nicobar islands.
