♦   TEMPERATURES:  Minimum temperatures are below normal by 2­4°C over   some parts of Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, east Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, coastal Andhra Pradesh. They are above normal by 7­9°C over isolate pockets of south Rajasthan,  Gujarat  and Madhya Maharashtra;  by  2­5°C  over  parts  of  Jammu & Kashmir, central, Telangana, Tamilnadu and Kerala & Lakshadweep and rest parts of Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan   and   Gujarat   and   they   are   near   normal   over   rest   of   the   country.   The  lowest minimum temperature of 3.9°C has been recorded at Sarsawa (Uttar Pradesh) in plains of the country.
♦   RAINFALL: Rainfall   has occurred at a few places over Lakshadweep and at one or two places over Jammu & Kashmir, sub­Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Tamilnadu and Kerala. The  rainfall  (1 cm or above) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today  are: Agathi  and Minicoy­1 each.
♦   CLOUDS:  Kalpana­1: Cloud imagery at 0830 hours IST shows convective clouds over north Jammu & Kashmir, Lakshadweep area, southwest Bay of Bengal, southeast   and adjoining eastcentral Arabian sea and Comorin area.   Low/medium clouds are seen over rest western Himalayan  region,   northeastern  states,  Gujarat,  Madhya  Pradesh,   Odisha, West  Bengal  & Sikkim, south peninsular India and Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
♦   The western disturbance as an upper air system over Jammu   & Kashmir   and neighbourhood persists. 
♦   The trough of low pressure area extends from southeast to eastcentral Arabian Sea  with  embedded  cyclonic  circulation  over  southeast Arabian  sea  and  adjoining Comorin area in lower levels.
♦  Northwesterly winds are prevailing over Indo­Gangetic plains.
♦  A fresh western disturbance would affect western Himalayan region around 11th.
