♦   TEMPERATURES:  Minimum temperatures are below  normal by 2­4°C over  some  parts  of interior south peninsular India and isolated pockets of Uttrakhand and Gangetic West Bengal. They are above normal by 4­6°C over some parts of East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and interior Maharashtra and isolated pockets of West Rajasthan; by 2­3 C over  rest Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh & Maharashtra and over parts of Gujarat, Odisha, north Andhra Pradesh, north Karnataka and northeastern states and isolated pockets of Jammu division of Jammu & Kashmir and Sub­Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim. They are near normal over rest of the country. The lowest minimum temperature of 5.5°C  has been recorded at Nazibabad (Uttar Pradesh) in the plains of country.
♦   RAINFALL: Rainfall has occurred at one or two places over south Tamilnadu. Light rainfall has also occurred at one or two  places  over  northeastern  states,  Andaman &  Nicobar Islands  and  Lakshadweep.  The significant   amount   (1   cm  or   more)   recorded  at   0830  hours   IST   of   today  are:   Tuticorin­3, Palayannkottai­2, Deomali and Kanyakumari­1 each.
♦   CLOUDS:  Kalpana­1: Cloud imagery at 0830 hours IST shows convective clouds over many parts of Jammu & Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh; some parts of southeast Bay of Bengal, south Andaman  Sea  and  southeast Arabian  sea.  Low/medium  clouds  are  seen  over  rest western Himalayan region and parts of Punjab, Haryana and northeastern states
♦   The   western   disturbance   as   an   upper   air   system   over   north   Pakistan   & neighbourhood  persists  with  an  induced  upper  air  cyclonic  circulation  over  central Pakistan and adjoining Rajasthan.
♦   The trough in lower levels extending from southeast to eastcentral Arabian Sea persists.
♦  A  trough extends from Arunachal Pradesh to north Bay of Bengal in lower levels.
