Monsoon News India 10 July 2012 Rainfall Report Forecast
·Southwest monsoon was active over Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Arunachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, West Uttar Pradesh, East Madhya Pradesh, Marathawada, Chhattisgarh, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana during past 24 hours.
·The southwest Monsoon has further advanced into some more parts of Rajasthan and in remaining parts of Haryana and Punjab. The Northern Limit of Monsoon (NLM) passes through Lat. 23° N/Long. 60° E, Lat. 23° N/Long. 65°E, Naliya, Bhuj, Ahmadabad, Jaipur, Churu and Ganganagar on 9thth July 2012.
·The Satellite Kalpana-1 Cloud imagery at 1430 hours IST shows convective clouds over parts of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Andhra Pradesh, interior Karnataka, Orissa, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, Arunachal Pradesh, Bay of Bengal, Andaman Sea and southeast Arabian Sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest parts of the country outside Punjab.
