·Southwest monsoon was vigorous over East Rajasthan and West Madhya Pradesh and active over East Madhya Pradesh and Kerala during past 24 hours.
·The Northern Limit of Monsoon (NLM) passes through Lat. 23° N/Long. 60° E, Lat. 23° N/Long. 65°E, Naliya, Bhuj, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Churu and Ganganagar on 10thth July 2012.
·Conditions are favourable for further advanced of Southwest Monsoon into remaining parts of the country during next 24 hours.
·The Satellite Kalpana-1 Cloud imagery at 1430 hours IST shows convective clouds over parts of Rajasthan, Gujarat, west Madhya Pradesh, north Konkan, Andhra Pradesh, south interior Karnataka, northeastern states, south Bay of Bengal, north Andaman Sea and east Arabian Sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest parts of the country.
