SYNOPSIS
: INTERTROPICAL CONVERGENCE ZONE (ITCZ) AFFECTING MINDANAO. DIFFUSED TAIL-END OF A COLD FRONT AFFECTING EXTREME NORTHERN LUZON.
FORECAST: THE WESTERN SECTIONS OF SOUTHERN LUZON AND VISAYAS WILL EXPERIENCE CLOUDY SKIES WITH SCATTERED TO WIDESPREAD RAINSHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WHICH MAY TRIGGER FLASHFLOODS AND LANDSLIDES. THE REST OF THE COUNTRY WILL HAVE MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES WITH SCATTERED RAINSHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. LIGHT TO MODERATE WINDS BLOWING FROM THE NORTH TO NORTHWEST WILL PREVAIL OVER LUZON AND COMING FROM THE NORTHWEST TO WEST OVER THE REST OF THE COUNTRY. THE COASTAL WATERS THROUGHOUT THE ARCHIPELAGO WILL BE SLIGHT TO MODERATE.
