♦   TEMPERATURES:  Maximum temperatures  fell  by  2­4°C over  many  parts  of   western Himalayan region and some parts of Gujarat, Konkan & Goa, Coastal Karnataka, Assam and Arunachal  Pradesh and change a little elsewhere. They are above normal by 2­4°C over many parts of western Himalayan region,  Jharkhand, Orissa, central  and  peninsular India and some parts of north Rajasthan and northeastern states and near normal over rest parts of the country. The highest  maximum  temperature of 39.9°C has been recorded at Bellary (Karnataka)  in plains of the country.
RAINFALL :  Light rain/snowfall has occured at a few places places over Jammu & Kashmir and at one or two places over Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.  Light rainfall has also occurred  at  one or two places over Arunachal Pradesh. Weather remained mainly dry over rest parts of the country.
♦  CLOUDS: Kalpana­1 cloud imagery at 1730 hours IST shows convective clouds over parts of   Jammu   &   Kashmir,   Uttarakhand,   south   Bay   of   Bengal   and   south   Andaman   Sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over parts of rest western Himalayan region, east Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya and extreme south peninsular India
