Weather Report India 28 February 2012 Climate Forecast



♦   TEMPERATURES:  Maximum temperatures  rose  by  2­3°C  over  many  parts  of Punjab, Rajasthan and west Madhya Pradesh and some parts of western Himalayan region, Gujarat, Arunachal Pradesh and east Assam and fell by about 2°C over some parts of east Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Orissa and Meghalaya. The   highest   maximum   temperature   of  42.0°C  has   been   recorded   at  Bhira
(Maharashtra) in coastal areas of the country.
♦ RAINFALL (From 0830   to 1730   hours IST of today ):   Light rain/snowfall has occured at one or two places over Jammu & Kashmir.  Weather remained mainly dry over rest parts of the country.
♦   CLOUDS:  Kalpana­1 cloud imagery at 1730 hours IST shows convective clouds over   parts   of   comorin   area,   south   Bay   of   Bengal   and   south   Andaman   Sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over parts of western Himalayan region, north Rajasthan, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh and south peninsular India.
