♦  Fog:  Fog/shallow fog has occurred in morning hours of today over isolated pockets of east Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and northeastern states.
TEMPERATURES : Minimum temperatures rose by 2­7°C over many parts of Jammu  & Kashmir and Himachal  Pradesh, and by  2­3°C   over  many  parts  of Punjab, Haryana and Orissa and some parts  of Uttarakhand,   west   Utter   Pradesh,   Rajasthan,   Gujarat   region,   west   Madhya   Pradesh,   Chhattisgarh   and Vidarbha; fell by 2­3°C  some parts of Saurashtra & Kutch and south interior Karnataka and changed little elsewhere. They are above normal by 2­4°C over some parts of Punjab, north Haryana, Rajasthan west and central India, Orissa and Telangana; below normal   by 2­4°C   over some parts of southwest & east Uttar Pradesh, rest east and northeast India, Rayalaseema, Tamilnadu and south Kerala and near normal over rest parts of the country. The lowest  minimum temperature of  3.5°C has been recorded at Narnaul (Haryana) in plains of the country.
♦  RAINFALL : Light rain/snowfall has occured at one or two places over Himachal Pradesh. Light rainfall has occured at one or two places over Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Weather remained mainly dry over rest parts of the
country.
♦  CLOUDS: Kalpana­1 Cloud imagery at 0830 hours IST shows convective clouds over parts of Jammu &
Kashmir and southeast Bay of Bengal. Low/medium clouds are seen over parts of rest northwest, west &
central India, Sikkim and northeastern states
