♦  Rainfall: Rainfall/thundershowers occurred at   most   places   over   Coastal   Andhra   Pradesh,   Tamilnadu   &   Kerala;   at   a   few   places   over   south   Madhya Maharashtra & interior Karnataka and at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh,  east Assam,  East Madhya Pradesh, south Chhattisgarh and rest Andhra Pradesh. Weather remained dry over rest parts of the country. The
amounts of rainfall (2 cm or more) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Kavali­10; Nagapattinam­9; Karaikal, Chennai, Nellore­8 each; Tirupathi­6; Ongole & Tiruttani­5 each; Hyderabad, Atiramapattinam, Alapuzha & Cuddalore­4 each; Sholapur, Puducherry & Yercaud­3 each; Itanagar, Vellore, Pamban, Bapatla & Cannur­2 each.

♦ Minimum temperatures are observed below 10°C at most places over western Himalayan region and at a few places over  Punjab, Haryana and north Rajasthan. They are below normal by 2­3°C at isolated  places over western Himalayan region, Punjab, Haryana, north Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.They are above normal by 2­ 5°C at many places over Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha & north Andhra Pradesh and at a few places over northeastern States, Chhattisgarh & south Rajasthan and near normal over rest of the country.

♦   Kalpana 1: Cloud imagery of 1430 hours IST shows convective clouds over   some parts of Jammu & Kashmir,  Vidarbha, North interior Karnataka, North Coastal Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu, southwest Bay of Bengal and South Andaman Sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest parts of the country outside western Himalayan region, Punjab, Haryana & Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, north Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand.
