♦  Rainfall:  Rain/thundershowers occurred at a few places over East  Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Gangetic West Bengal, East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha and Andaman & Nicobar Islands and at isolated places over West Madhya Pradesh, Odisha and   Lakshadweep.   Weather remained dry over rest of the country. The amounts of rainfall (1 cm or more) recorded at 1730 hours IST of yesterday were: Pendra Road­6; Rajnadgaon­5; Noncowry & Raipur­3 each; Port Blair, Satna & Mana­2 each; Canning, Rewa, Lucknow, Jabalpur, Varanasi, Chandrapur & Bilaspur­1 each.

♦ Temperature: Yesterday, maximum temperatures were above normal by 2­4°C at many places over Himachal Pradesh, Saurashtra & Kutch, Andhra Pradesh and Tamilnadu; at a few places over Assam & Meghalaya and at isolated places over Gangetic West Bengal, West   Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Karnataka. They were below normal by 5­8°C at many places over East Uttar Pradesh, East Madhya Pradesh  &  Chhattisgarh and by 2­4°C at many places over Bihar, Odisha and at a few places over West Madhya Pradesh and at isolated places over Bihar & Vidarbha  and Chhattisgarh and near normal over rest of the country.

♦ Kalpana 1: Cloud imagery of 0530 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, southeast Bay of Bengal, south Andaman sea and southeast Arabian Sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over  rest parts of the country out side Rajasthan, Gujarat, West Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.

♦  Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers has occurred at most places over Jammu & Kashmir, Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Kerala; at many places over Himachal Pradesh, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, South Interior Karnataka and Tamilnadu; at a few places over Konkan & Goa, North Interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep and at isolated places over Punjab, Uttrakhand, Assam & Meghalaya, Saurashtra & Kutch, Madhya Maharashtra, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand,  Odisha, Telangana and Rayalaseema. Weather remained dry over rest of the country. The amounts of rainfall (3 cm or more) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Portblair­21; Long Island­15; Karipur­14; Kottayam & Mayabandar­8 each; Kochin, Dharmapuri, Atiramapattinam­7 each; Bankura­6; Thiruvananthapuram­5; Hut Bay­4; Nancowry, Bagati, Una, Batote, Banihal, Qazi Gund and Pahal Gaon­3 each.

♦ Temperature:   Minimum temperatures are above normal by 2­4°C at a few places over Jammu & Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, West Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat state and Madhya Maharashtra and at isolated places over East Uttar Pradesh, East Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Assam & Meghalaya and Telangana. They are below normal by 2­3°C at isolated  places over Konkan & Goa and Tamilnadu.
