♦ Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers has occurred at most places over Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal & Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura; at many places over north Odisha; at a few places over Tamilnadu and Andaman & Nicobar Islands and at isolated places over East Uttar Pradesh, East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telengana and Konkan & Goa. Weather remained mainly dry / dry over rest parts of the country. The amounts of rainfall (2 cm or more) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Goalpara-34; Cooch Behar-23; Dhubri-21; Cherrapunji-15; Guwahati and Majbat-11 each; Pudduchery-9; Pasighat-7; Jharsuguda and Malda-6 each; Tezpur, Balurghat, Hirakud and Vellore-5 each; Darjeeling, Jalpaiguri, Kolkata(Alipore), Uluberia, Sundergarh and Puri-4 each; Shillong, Shantiniketan, Diamond Harbour, Purnea, Canning, Haldia and Chennai-3 each; Gorakhpur, North Lakhimpur, Jorhat, Panagarh, Bankura, Kolkata(Dumdum), Sambalpur-2 each.
♦ Temperature: Minimum temperatures are above normal by 2-3°C at a few places over Tamilnadu; at isolated places over Odisha, Vidarbha and Coastal Andhra Pradesh.They are below normal by 2-4°C at a few places over Himachal Pradesh, Sub Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim and at isolated places over Rajasthan and near normal over rest parts of the country.
♦ Kalpana1: Cloud imagery of 0830 hours IST of today shows convective clouds over some parts of Bihar, West Bengal & Sikkim, Assam & Meghalaya, Tripura, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, south interior Karnataka, north Tamilnadu, northwest, westcentral & southeast Bay of Bengal. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest parts of the country outside Jammu & Kashmir, Haryana & Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan.
