♦   FOG: Shallow/moderate fog observed at some places over Delhi and Uttar Pradesh in morning hours.

♦   RAINFALL: Rain/snow occurred at many places over Himachal Pradesh and at a few places over Jammu & Kashmir and Uttarakhand.  Rain/thundershowers occurred at a few places over Odisha and at isolated places over   Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, Telengana, Arunachal Pradesh, Kerala and Tamilnadu. Weather remained mainly dry/dry over rest of the country. The amounts of rainfall (in cm) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are:  Coonoor­ 4; Thiruvanthapuram and Bhubaneshwar­3;  Palayankottai and Gopalpur­2 and Jamshedpur and Manali­1 each.

♦   Temperatures: Minimum temperatures are below normal by 2­5°C at many places over  Himachal Pradesh, Uttrakhand, east Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and   Madhya Maharashtra and at a few places over Punjab, Haryana,  rest Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh and Karnataka. They are above normal by  2­3°C at  many places over Tamilnadu and at a few places over south Andhra Pradesh and  near normal over rest of the country.

♦   Kalpana­1: Cloud imagery at 1430 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of Jammu & Kashmir. Low/medium clouds are seen over parts of rest western Himalayan region, Punjab,   Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal, Arunachal Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu and  Kerala.
