♦   RAINFALL: Light rain/snow occurred at isolated places over   Jammu   &   Kashmir   and   Himachal   Pradesh.   Light   rain/thundershowers   occurred   at   isolated   places   over Arunachal Pradesh. Weather remained mainly dry/dry over rest of the country.

♦   Temperatures:  The maximum temperatures were below normal by 2­5°C at many places over northwest  India and at a few places over Gujarat states, Madhya Pradesh and isolated places over Bihar, Gangetic West Bengal, Arunachal Pradesh and interior Maharashtra. They were above normal by 2­4°C at a few places over interior Odisha and Jharkhand and  isolated places over west Assam,  north Chhattisgarh and Tamilnadu and near normal over rest parts of the country.

♦  Kalpana­1: Cloud imagery at 0530 hours IST shows convective clouds over many parts of Jammu & Kashmir and  Himachal Pradesh. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest parts of  western Himalayan region and over parts of east Uttar Pradesh, northeastern states, Kerala and coastal Tamilnadu.
