♦    RAINFALL: Rain/thundershowers occurred  at   most   places  over   Kerala;  at   many   places  over   coastal   Karnataka,   Tamilnadu   and Lakshadweep; .a  few places  over Andaman & Nicobar  islands  and  at isolated places  over Assam & 
Meghalaya, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema. Weather remained mainly dry/dry over rest of the country. The amount of rainfall (2 cm or more) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Pamban­5; Tondi, Honavar and Mangalore­4 each; Kavali, Kochi, Cannur, Thiruvanathapuram  (A/P), Kanyakumari, Kottayam 
Kozikode and Palayankottai­3 each and Coimbatore, Atiramapattinam, Numgambakkam, Tuticorin, Amini Divi and Thiruvanathapuram­2 each.

♦   Temperatures: Minimum temperatures  are  below  normal  by  2­4°C  at many  places  over  Jammu & Kashmir and Odisha and at a few places over Punjab, Haryana and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram &  Tripura. They were above normal by 2­5°C   at many places over Madhya Pradesh, east Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and 
Madhya Maharashtra; at a few places over Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand and nearly normal  over rest of the country.

♦   Fog: At 0830 hours IST of today: Fog/shallow fog has been observed over some parts of east Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, sub­Himalayan West Bengal and Tripura at isolated pockets of Punjab, Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh..

♦  Kalpana­1: Cloud imagery at 0830 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of  south Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu, Kerala, Comorin area, southwest Bay of Bengal, south Andaman sea and southeast Arabian Sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over   some parts of   Jammu & Kashmir,   Himachal Pradesh, 
Uttarakhand,   Madhya   Pradesh,   Arunachal   Pradesh,   sub­Himalayan   West   Bengal   & Sikkim,   Assam   & Meghalaya, Nagaland, rest peninsular India and mainly clear sky over rest parts of the country.
