♦  RAINFALL: Rain/thundershowers occurred at most places over Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal & Sikkim and west coast; at many  places over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana & Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha and Tamilnadu; at a few places over Bihar, Jharkhand and   Gujarat state, at isolated places  over Andhra Pradesh and interior
Maharashtra and mainly dry  over rest parts of the country. The chief amounts of rainfall (6 cm or more) recorded at 0830 hours IST of  today are: Katra­14, Jabalpur­13, Jorhat and Jharsuguda­12 each, Canning, Mayabandar
and Damoh­10 each, Rewa, Mandla and Narsingpur­9 each, Bankura and Puducherry­8 each, Paradip,   Una, Chandigarh and Ambala­7 each, Carnicobar, Haldia, Gorakhpur, Satna, Mahabaleshwar, Sultanpur, Meerut and
Cuddalore­6 each.

TEMPERATURES:  Minimum temperatures are below normal by 2­5°C at many places over  Tamilnadu and at a few places over Uttar Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh and Arunachal Pradesh.  They are above normal by 2­ 4°C.at many places over Jammu & Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh; at   one or two places over   Rajasthan, Punjab and northeastern states  and nearly normal over rest of the country. 

Kalpana­1:  Cloud  imagery at  0830  hours IST  shows  convective  clouds over parts of Haryana, Punjab, Uttrakhand, west Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, east Rajasthan, Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal,   Assam & Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Vidarbha, Tamilnadu,, southeast Bay of Bengal and Andaman Sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest parts of the country.
