TEMPERATURES: Minimum temperatures are below normal by 23° C over some parts of Madhya Pradesh, north Maharashtra and east Rajasthan. They are above normal by 23° C over some parts of Western Himalayan region, Punjab and west Bengal & Sikkim and near normal over rest parts of the country.

RAINFALL: Rainfall has occurred at most places over Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat region, along West Coast and northeastern states; at many places over West Bengal & Sikkim, east Rajasthan, interior Maharashtra, interior Karnataka, Telangana and Andaman & Nicobar Islands; at a few places over Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, rest Andhra Pradesh and Lakshadweep and at one or two places over rest parts of the country. The chief amounts of rainfall (4 cm or more) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Agumbe27, Indore21, Cherrapunji and Mahabaleshwar17 each, Medikeri13, Hutbay and Bhira11 each, Long Island and Ratlam8 each, Valparai and Ujjain7, Cannur, Palakkad and Nasik6 each, Rajgarh, Passighat, Kozhikode, Mangalore, Guwahati, Banswara, Yeotmal, Baroda and Goa(Panjim)5 each and Nedumbassery, Nizamabad, Kakinada, Sawaimadhopur, Kota, Jalgoan, Bhagalpur and Panchmarhi4 each.

Kalpana1: Cloud imagery at 0830 hours IST shows convective clouds over parts of south Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, south interior Karnataka, Kerala, northeastern states, Bay of Bengal,, Andaman sea and east Arabian sea. Low /medium clouds are seen over rest parts of the country
outside east Uttar Pradesh and east Madhya Pradesh.
