♦ TEMPERATURES: Today,minimum temperatures are below normal by 35°
C over parts of east Uttar Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Odisha. They are near normal over rest parts of the country.
♦ RAINFALL:Rainfall has occurred at most places over east Uttar Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, West Bengal &
Sikkim and west coast; at many places over Jammu & Kashmir, Assam & Meghalaya, west Madhya Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep; at a few places over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura,
Haryana, Saurashtra & Kutch, Madhya Maharashtra and south interior Karnataka and at one or two places over Haryana, Uttarakhand, west Uttar Pradesh and Tamilnadu. The chief amounts of rainfall ( 3cm or more) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Allahabad and Long Island10 each, Sidhi, Vengurla and Sagar9
each,Panjim, Goa (Dabolim) , Tikamgarh, and Datia7 each, Agumbe6,
Fursatganj, Jhansi, Rewa, Bhira, Ratnagiri, Honavar and Narsingpur5 each, Darjeeling, Lucknow, Mahabeleshwar, Itanagar, Berhampore, Cannur, Karwar, Damoh and Jabalpur4 each.
♦ Kalpana1: Cloud imagery at 1430 hours IST shows convective clouds over parts of east Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, along west coast , Assam & Meghalaya, Tripura, Kerala,, Tamilnadu, Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal, Madhya Maharashtra, Bay of Bengal, north Andaman sea and southeast Arabian sea. Low /medium clouds are seen over rest parts of the country.
