♦ RAINFALL: Rain/thundershower occurred at most places along west coast, east Madhya Pradesh, rest Maharashtra and SubHimalayan West Bengal & Sikkim; at many places over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, east
Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gangetic West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, northeastern states, Lakshadweep and Andaman & Nicobar Islands; at a few places over Jammu & Kashmir, west Uttar Pradesh, Odisha and interior Karnataka and at one or two places over west Rajasthan. The chief amounts
of rainfall (4 cm or more) recorded at 0830 hours IST of are: Selu(in Vidarbha)26, Wardha16; Bhira12; Jalpaiguri10; Surat and Bagdogra9 each; Pachmarhi8; Bulsar , Goa(Panjim), Ratnagiri, Bareilly and Udaipur7 each; Porbhani, Mumbai, Nizamabad, Palakkad and Digha6 each and Bapatla, Manali, Hissar, north Lakhimpur, Cherrapunji, Ujjain and Valparai4 each.
♦ TEMPERATURES: Minimum temperatures are above normal by 23°C over many parts of Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Assam & Meghalaya and some parts of Jammu & Kashmir, Haryana and Uttarakhand. They are below normal by 24°C over isolated pockets of interior Maharashtra & coastal Andhra Pradesh and near normal over rest parts of the country.
♦ Kalpana1: Cloud imagery at 0830 hours IST shows convective clouds over many parts of Punjab, Bihar, Gujarat region, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamilnadu, Bay of Bengal, Andaman sea and east Arabian sea. Low/ medium clouds are seen over rest parts of the country.
