♦ TEMPERATURES: Minimum temperatures between 2630°C are reported over many parts of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, interior Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Tamilnadu and over some parts of Gujarat, Gangetic West Bengal and Bihar. They are between 2125°C over many parts of Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh and less than 20°C over many parts of northeastern States. The lowest minimum temperature of 19.8°C has been recorded at Rewa (Madhya Pradesh) in plains of the country.
♦ RAINFALL: Rain/thundershowers has occurred at many places over northeastern states and at one or two places over Jammu & Kashmir, West Bengal & Sikkim, Odisha, south interior Karnataka, Tamilnadu and Kerala. Weather remained mainly dry over rest parts of the country. The chief amounts of rainfall (1 cm or more ) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Silchar and Agartala6 each, Coonoor and Tezpur4 each, Mandya, Itanagar and Lengpui3 each, Passighat, Deomali, North Lakhimpur, Balasore, Gangtok, Golaghat, Perikulam and Jorhat2 each and Kovilangulam,Baripada, Hirakud Cherrapunji, Tangla, Dibrugarh, Halflong and Panagarh1 each.
♦ CLOUDS: Kalpana1 Cloud imagery at 0830 hours IST shows convective clouds over parts of Jammu & Kashmir, northeastern states, south Bay of Bengal, Comorin Area and southeast Arabian sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over parts of rest western Himalayan region, Haryana, west Uttar Pradesh, rest northeastern states and south peninsular India
