♦ TEMPERATURES: Minimum temperatures are below normal by 24° C over some parts of east Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Vidarbha, Konkan & Goa. isolated pockets of Gujarat state and west Madhya Pradesh. They are above normal by 23° C over parts of Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal & Sikkim, rest Madhya Pradesh, Rayalaseema, and interior Karnataka and Tamilnadu and near normal over rest of the
country. The lowest minimum temperature of 14.0°C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab) in the plains of country.
♦ RAINFALL : Rain/thundershower has occurred at many places over Jammu & Kashmir and east Madhya Pradesh; at a few places over Odisha and at one or two places over Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi & Chandigarh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, west
Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, south interior Karnataka, northeastern States, Vidarbha and interior Andhra Pradesh. The rainfall amounts of (1 cm or more) has been recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are:Hyderabad4; Mandla, Medak and Arogyavaram3 each; Tadong and Jharsuguda2 each and Delhi (safderjung & Palam), Datia, Malanjkhand, Pendra, Sambalpur and Angul1 each.
♦ CLOUDS: Kalpana1 Cloud imagery at 0830 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of Western Himalayan region, south peninsular India, south Bay of Bengal and south Andaman Sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over some parts of northwest and central India and eastern &northeastern states.
